Almost all rings can be resized but some will be more complicated and take longer to do than others.

Ring Resizing While You Wait
We are able to size most types of rings while you wait, and if you have a plain wedding band, a solitaire ring, a cluster ring, a halo, a hidden halo, or a 3 stone ring with a plain shank, then we will almost certainly be able to size it while you wait.
Rings that have diamonds on the side can be sized and often while you wait; however, they do carry the risk of one of the stones on the side becoming loose or coming out. This is because the band they sit within will be manipulated, which can cause the settings to move away from the stone.
Before we size your ring, we will inspect the settings and advise if there are any stones that we think are at risk of coming out. If a stone does come out during the resize, then it will have to be reset, which may take between 1-2 working days.

If we identify any stones we think are at risk, we will do our best to tighten them before sizing the ring; however, if one of them does come out, then there will be a re-setting charge of £25, as well as the cost to re-size the ring.
If we do not identify any stones at risk prior to sizing and one comes out, there will be no extra charge; however, this will still take 3-5 working days to complete.
If you have a ring that has diamonds all the way around then unfortunately, we will not be able to resize this while you wait.
Most stones are actually pretty tough (diamonds are formed under millions of tons of heat and pressure) however, there are some stones that are a bit trickier.
Rings with Pearls, Opals, and Emeralds need to be treated with more care, and we’re less likely to be able to resize these while you wait.
How Long Does It Take For A Ring To Be Resized?
We offer a ring size while-you-wait service for most types of rings. This typically takes 45-60 minutes. There are some types of rings that we can't do while you wait and these take 3-5 working days.
How Much Does It Cost To Get A Ring Resized?
If you buy a ring from us, we’ll resize it for free. For rings that we didn’t make, we charge from £85.
Rings that need to be made smaller and are made out of silver, gold or platinum will cost £85. If they need to be plated (normally with gold or rhodium), then this costs an extra £25.
If a ring needs to be made bigger, then it will be priced based on how many sizes it needs to go up, the width of the ring and the metal that is needed.
When you visit, we will measure your finger and ring and advise how much the materials will cost. For example, a 5mm wide wedding band made out of 18ct yellow gold costs £24 per size, if it needs to go up 3 sizes, it will cost £137 in total.
Sizing charge £85 + £24 x 3 = £137
If you have a ring that we can't do while you wait then it will take 3-5 working days to complete. Rings that need to be plated in rhodium or gold or that have gemstones or a pattern all the way around will take longer.
