We loved creating this custom-made, fairtrade rose gold engagement ring. The centre stone is an elongated cushion-cut diamond that is flanked by two pear-cut diamonds and set in 18ct Fairtrade rose gold.
It's a classic 4-claw setting design, which was chosen to maximise the sparkle and the shape of the diamonds. The ring was designed and made entirely in the UK, between casters in Birmingham and our London jewellery workshop.
Cushion Cut Canada Mark Diamond
The vast majority of Canada Mark diamonds are round brilliant cut, which makes this 0.58ct cushion cut something of a rarity. This F colour diamond was paired with 2 pear-shaped diamonds to create this delicate fairtrade rose gold engagement ring.

The Custom Design Process
To begin the process, the groom sent through some images of rings his partner liked. We discussed the various features of each design and exactly what it was from each design that would help us to create this custom ring.
For many grooms-to-be looking at some images online is a great starting point but it’s up to us to try and distil down what they actually like about each image and how that fits into their budget.
We made some drawings based on discussions we had, and to give a feel of what the various designs would look like with the different diamond cuts. At this stage, we had decided that it was a choice between a round, cushion or princess-cut diamond.

3-stone Diamond Ring In Rose Gold
The process to make the ring took 4 weeks from the time the final design was finalised, this included the manufacturing, setting, polishing and hallmarking process.
